- Hi There Everyone – I’m Camden Elizabeth Medley
Hi there everyone! Since you all have been waiting now for about 38 weeks and 3 days, I finally am getting my first chance to meet you all!
My name is Camden Elizabeth Medley and I am the beautiful (don’t mind saying so myself) daughter of Ashley and Justin Medley. I was born in Chattanooga, TN. at Erlanger East Hospital Hamilton Place Mall(I can’t wait to take Mom & Dad shopping). My journey into this world has not been the easiest, my Mom has had high blood pressure while I have been inside her and all the doctors have been worried about her. But, with the help of Dr. Reeves, I came into this world this morning at 9:53AM. Mom and Dad got us all checked in to the hospital about 7:00 AM this morning, then they stuck Mom with needles, talked to them both a whole bunch, then finally wheeled us out of the Labor and Delivery Suite about 9:15AM.
Hey Mom, Is Dad Having Me Or Is It You...
I wasn’t actually very long after we left the room that I was born but we all had to stay in the Recovery Room for my first meal, my first bath, then Dr. Reeves told us it was okay to go out and meet everyone. They all said I looked beautiful with a pretty full head of hair, 6 lbs. 10 ounces, and 19 1/4″ long.
(Between you and me, I’ve already gotten Dad wrapped around my little finger, just don’t tell him I shared this with everyone!)
When the doors opened everyone was standing there taking pictures (I’m just a new baby and cannot understand all the fuss). Dad carried me down the hall to meet everyone since Mom had a “C Section” because I was breached, she rode down the hall on the portable bed cause she was really, really tired. All my relatives were there, Betty and Frank, Randy and Joan, Ron and Donnita, Auntie “M” (Michelle), Aunt Sarah, and my great Aunt Joyce (Joan’s sister). PS-if there is anyone I forget please forgive me.
When we first went into our room everyone was so darn excited. They took picture, after picture, after picture… They all passed me around like a new loaf of bread and I think they took movies of Mom, Dad and me. With some luck, we’ll post some videos later but I’m kinda new at this Blog Thing so please bear with me.
After the first round of meeting everyone, then Stacy, Ashley, and Allie came by to see me. Later, John Hughes and his wife, Landon and Cole, GOSH all the fuss.Well, I’m gonna get a little bite to eat, tell Mom and Dad goodnight and then get some rest. All this fuss just wears me out, like, like, give me a break everyone. I’ll see you all or talk to you tomorrow. Thanks to all of you for loving me so much, we’ll talk soon (or as soon as Mom & Dad teach me).

Welcome to the world baby girl! How is it that I love you so much and I just met you? It must be the nose, the lips, the fingers and toes! Words can not describe how happy you have made everyone in this family!
Baby girl, the first time I held you had this wonderful warm glow let me know how special you are. It’s wonderful to have you here and healthy. We’re looking forward to sharing the world with you grow.

You don’t know me, but I work with your grandmother, Betty. I just wanted to say how beautiful you are and welcome you to this world. You’re grandmother has been so excited about your arrival, you’re all she talks about and for good reason. Can’t wait for your mom to bring you to our office so we can see you in person.

Hey Camden! We are all so glad you’re here. You should have seen all your Grandparents waiting for you to get here. They were all pacing around and anxious for your arrival. Granna was delighted when your Daddy finally called from the labor room to let us know you were here. Your Daddy said “She looks like a little rose!”. You know what? He was right. Then he took a picture of you and sent it to Granna’s phone. I’m quite sure that picture was sent to half the world before you and Mommy and Daddy made it to the hospital room! Love Ya
